Engagement Challenges Across Industries

Employee Engagement

HOW ENGAGED ARE YOUR EMPLOYEES? Employee disengagement lowers productivity, increases turnover, and poisons customer relationships. Solutions always involve dialogue that refocuses employees and management on shared goals.

Parent Engagement

Student success REQUIRES parental leadership. The Education Game is a learning lab that studies parent decision-making, mindsets, and capacities. Co-Founded with Dr. Scott Van Beck, we train and inspire parents to grow “Future-Ready Learners.”

Client Engagement

Nonprofits and Churches must no longer see their clients as “recipients” but as “co-laborers.” Doing so requires elevating the voice of users and staying within earshot at all times.

An example of what not to do.

Engagement Strategies are those efforts that improve the level of COGNITIVE, EMOTIONAL, and BEHAVIORAL investment in an idea, brand or company.

Engagement 101

  • Engagement does not work unless there is disruption.

  • All parties must be led to imagine a different, and more mutually beneficial, relationship.

  • The goal of engagement is to improve institutional and individual outcomes by repositioning institutions and individuals as "co-owners."

Workshops and Presentations

I regularly speak and lead virtual and in-person workshops on the nexus of education, family, and leadership.

Presentations are generally free of charge for individuals and non-profits.

Institutional Consultation

My work reverses learned helplessness within institutions, employee groups, clients, and communities. I work with institutions who are serious about growing bottom-up leadership. Schedule an initial conversation to learn how I would approach your situation. (Initial conversation fees will be discounted from future work.)
